PREXIE SPIRIT!

The first pep rally for the 1991-1992
football season was held on Friday,  September 19 during CARE. It was the second game for the Presidents, and the crowd roared as they cheered the team to a 20-0 victory over the Indian River Braves.
Leading off the rally was Blue Thunder, Wilson’s mighty band, followed by cheers from the Junior Varsity Cheerleaders.
The members of the Varsity Presidents introduced themselves, then they gathered by the mike and yelled cheers to hype the crowd.
The crowd responded positively to this as the Seniors got into a shouting contest with the lower classmen. Additional cheers by the Varsity Cheerleaders raised spirits even higher.
The President and First Ladies, Wilson’s premier singing group, sang the Alma Mater as the entire student body crossed through the grade barrier and clasped hands.
As the first pep rally came to a close, the Senior Class of 1992 was proud fo finally be the first fo leave the auditorium!
WE'RE #1!
FOCUS
ON THE NEWSCHOOL YEAR
Somewhere a bell rang... loudly. As the dawn of a new  school year greeted us, we found that there were many changes in store for us. We learned that instead of the schedule everyone was used to, two major changes would assail us. First of all, homeroom was now after first period, providing more time for Channel One. This was also to cut down on the number of tardy students in the morning. Secondly, after second period, every student was assigned to a classroom for CARE, anew study period. Going to CARE every day put Us ON a permanent activity schedule. Making the first day even more chaotic was the addition of a new assistant principal and approximately 20 new teachers. As the first month drew to a close, the students of Woodrow Wilson High School began for settle into their schedules, adjust to their new teachers, and look forward to the rest of the 1991-1992 school year... picture that!
