Golf Team Has Challenging Year
The golf team finished the season with one vic-tory. The matches were played at Bide-a-Wee, Sle-epy Hole, Lake Wright, and Ocean View. The team was coached by Mr. Pullen and consisted of 2 seniors, 2 juniors, and 2 sophomores.
Eric Coltrain was a medalist in 3 matches, qualified for the Re- gional Tournament, and was the “MVP on the team. Andy Thomson was the ‘Most Improved Player” on the team.

The Girls Tennis Team finished the year 3-5. The highlight of the year was the additions of Forgeign Exchange Student, Lora Tasseva from Budgaria. Lora finished 3rd in the Eastern District Tennis Tounament. The highest finish anyone can remember. The addition of Seniors Carrie Holley and Erica Davis, as well as underclassmen Yen Nguyen, Thria Winter and Kimberly Hooker to veterans Laurie Monacell and Tara Welch, made this one of Coach Littlefield's most enjoyable years.

The Boy’s Tennis Team completed a rebuilding year in which there was only one
senior. Six of the members of the team were freshmen or sophomores. Andy Thomson (Jr.) was “First Team All-Southeastern District.”
Although the team only won
a few matches, they were very competitive and they al-ways had fun.

Girls Go For The Goal
The 1996 Girls Varsity Soccer season began with tremendous promise. We had ten re-turning players. In particular, Capt. Natalie Barnes won “Ist Team All-District Honors” the year before. Previous second team and honorable mention players returning were Carrie Holley, Frances Genera, Jennifer Lawrence, Mindy Cathell, and Kristi Unzicker.
Wilson started winning games immediately
against Lake Taylor, Booker T. Washington, and Churchland. Then the tables turned, injuries took their toll. Lost during the season were Carrie Holley (knee), Franchestica Davis (knee), Frances Genera (ankle), Jennifer Lawrence (knee & hip), Kristi Unzicker (hip), and Kathryn Keady (knee). We provided plenty of work for the athletic trainer, but our bench became too thin to provide adequate substitution for the remaining players who were giving it their all.

Boys Soccer ... Kickin’ It
The 1995-96 soccer team had a tough season, winning only one game. The bright spot for the Presidents was the leader-ship of Ade Patton. The Presidents have all of their players returning for the 1996-97 season, so expect bigger and better things from them.
