First Year Team
Girls Had Rebuilding Year 
   The team did very well this year considering that four starters graduated in 1998. The record was 5-9. Kristin Jernigan was First Team All District and also was nominated for the All Eastern Region Team. Monique Teartt (SR.) was Honorable Mention Team All Eastern District. Shelly Davis led the team with 41 serving aces, Monique had 35, with Kristin Jernigan right behind with 27. Amber White-hurst had 17 aces, returned as setter and was helped by freshman Cuc Thi Nguyen with 7 aces, 2 kills and 2 blocks. Tiffany Johnson added 14 aces, 3 kills, and 1 block. Kristin had 27 aces, 19 kills, and 9 blocks. Monique had 35 aces, 12 kills, and 9 blocks. Lindsay Atkins and Jennifer Lynn use their height to help on 
the front line.

Varsity Boys Bid Farewell
The Lady Presidents Girl's Varsity Basketball finished the season with a 
twelve win and seven loss record.They finished third in the District and first in the South Hapton Roads area. The Lady Presidents also made their first appearance in the Eastern District Tournament.
