HOMECOMING ‘89
The Wilson Presidents honored the class of 1965 at the homecoming festivities. Traditionally, the game is played at Lawrence Stadium, but because of scheduling conflicts, activities were held at Cradock High School’s stadium. The Marching Band gave a spectacular performance with an outstanding display of precision movements set to music.
The student body chose five senior girls as finalists for queen — Carlita Atkins, Francina Burnett, Stephanie Granger, Contina Milon, and Charnetta Turner. The winner was not revealed until half-time. Stephanie Granger was named Homecoming Queen and crowned by Mrs. Fisher, Assistant Principal.
