Homecoming '96: 
A Presidential Celebration
“A PRESIDENTIAL CELEBRATION” 
    Woodrow Wilson’s Homecoming began on  Monday, October 28, 1996 with Spirit Week. Wilson’s Homecoming assembly was held at 1:00 p.m. on October 31, 1996. During the assembly, all grade level representatives were announced by Mr. Claud as follows: Mr. and Miss Freshman — Marcus Branch and Jamille Thomas, Mr. and Miss Sophomore — Damarco Green and Bekah Jarman, Mr. and Miss Junior — Jermaine Newsome and Kathryn Riddick, and Mr. and Miss Senior —- Theodore Collins and Jeru’sha Williams. 
   The Homecoming Queen and King candidates  were Miss Trish Stegall, Miss Tarhesha Hargrove, Miss Erica Davis, Miss Niella Davis, and Mr. Laurice Parham. The Homecoming King and Queen were not announced until Friday, November 1, 1996 at 7:00 during the half-time ceremonies. 
   Mrs. Copeland was gracious enough to announce the 1996 Homecoming King and Queen. They were Mr. Laurice Parham and Miss Erica Davis. “The Presidential Celebration” was outstanding and well attended, thanks to the coor- dination of Mrs. Wesner, the SCA, and the exceptional performance of the band. Wilson’s varsity football team played its hardest and lost a heart breaker to Churchland.
