This year the Woodrow Wilson Chapter CRHOME Club ( Cooperating Hampton Roads Organizations for Minorities in Engineering) invited a special guest to speak to our school. The guest speaker was meterologist Jon Cash of WAVY-TV 10. He comes on the channel's morning news show and informs Hampton Roads of the up and coming weather changes in his forcast. Several science classes came to hear Mr. Cash speak on the importance of science and education in the lives of young people. The weatherman was well received and this was a memorable experience that many Woodrow Wilson students will never forget.

Life Off Wilson Campus
Student life goes be-yond the halls of Wilson High School. Life outside of school consists of af-terschool jobs, home-work, and chores. On this page, you can see Wilson students working at after-school jobs. Extra money is needed for gas, car in-surance, class dues, and other miscellaneous teen- age expenses.
Afterschool jobs not only provide financial relief, they also give students an opportunity to learn re-sponsibility so that they can prepare for life after high school.
